Generally FE is not a scam in most cases but it's the second easy way to scam on the site,never give up your escrow option, it was designed into the site to protect you, bypassing it makes you look quite a fool because SR will not help anyone that bypasses escrow early. It says on the orders page all finalization are final and they mean it 110%.
Seems FE potential, is derived from eager beaver syndrome.Vendors invented the finalization early option anyway. They have what sounds like some reasonable answers as to why to FE but they are all unneeded and can be done with out.
FE means you freely decide to give your currency away no matter what the outcome is, if this is fine with you FE but it losing the currency and getting no order bothers you at all don't do it.
also you can buy porn for like 0.04btc for stat building if most vendors wont look into your stats enough to see you spent less than a btc for good enough stats to not have to FE.
I've never FE and guess what, I ve never been ripped off or scammed. There is always tomorrow and a new vendor that will pop up, any day could a day someone joins that wont require FE so don't be so eager to hope on the FE must wagon. It's a myth. If you feel you must FE then you are doing it wrong. What's that saying about butterflies and narwhals?

The real reason I haven't applied to be on the list is because this is how scammers get a foothold in the community.
They get legit very respectable members to review their products and professionalism and then wait for newbs to slide in and start to selective scam with them and then after building up lots of credit as a great vendor they use the respectable members green light as a way to build creditability that allows them to scam.
That's why I stopped reviewing vendors that ask me too, I made me an unknowing accomplice in aiding the rise of a scammer.
I don't review vendors or product upon request but I do on occasion offer to random vendors to review them, that way I control the reviews 100% and there proper credibility.

Just wanted to share for those that have not caught on to this.

I caught onto already. I understand the risk of scammers making use of the list, but I also know that I hate it when a new vendor shows up offering samples and then 4 out of 5 people never review. I'm hoping this is the best middle-ground. But I fully plan to personally hunt any vendors who abuse the list.

I agree and do approve of this thread but just want to let everyone(scammers) that it's not as easy as it use to be to abuse senior members to scam.

Well, they do!  I don't understand how certain vendors demand FE for new buyers IF it is  "against the rules"

Yeah it menas that it was processed after that days morning process and it went out and came back to go out the next morning usually.
